Adoption
When our fantastic foster team have rehabilitated the cats in their care, we find them forever homes, where they can become loved family members.
We mainly offer adoptions to homes located in the Swindon and Gloucester areas. However, we will consider other areas for that perfect home.
Cats looking for their forever homes
Our rescued cats are looking for many different types of forever homes.
Our feral cats will do best in a farm or stable placement, they may become friendly in time but will enjoy their role as working cats.

Please read our adoption policy: -
Adoptions are carried out within the Gloucester and Swindon areas ONLY. Other areas are considered where the cat has special rehoming requirements.
Kittens are ALWAYS adopted as pairs unless you have a cat aged 4 years or younger.
Any children in the home MUST be at least 6 years of age, as our cats and kittens are rescue/ex-feral cats.
Homes near a busy/main road will NOT be accepted for our cats and kittens.
No other household pets are acceptable unless specified in the individual cat's biography.
Please make sure you meet these criteria and have read the cats’ biographies before applying.
A home inspection will be carried out.

£150 - Adult cat or single kitten, fully vaccinated / chipped / neutered / fleaed and wormed.
£270 - Pair of adult cats or pair of kittens chipped / neutered / vaccinated / fleaed and wormed.

LONG TERM FOSTER OR ADOPT
This is the lovely Nigel
He is about 2-3 years old, a right chatterbox and a big softy living fuss and cuddles.
​
Nigel needs a family who will take great care of him. He will need to be an indoor cat or with a cat proof garden.
​
Nigel is diabetic, so needs medication in his food daily. He will also need monthly urine tests to monitor any blood in his urine.
​
Nigel is under the care of SPA vets in Gloucester and will need to be taken here for his monthly urine test and check up.
It’s that simple. No injections need to be given.
​
We feel a home with maybe 1 other cat/no dogs and no children under 8 years old.
​
Cats Rescue Gloucestershire will cover the treatment for his diabetes for 12 months. After this it’s approximately £50 a month for the medication if adopting.

Oreo is a bit shy at first but after a minute of fusses she will get her belly out for a rub.

Oreo will need a home with no children under 6, we’re not sure how she would be with dogs and she should be fine with another cat.
Oreo will need outdoor access after 4-6 weeks of settling in.

This is lovely, Rocky
He is about 3 years old and a big ginger lion.
Rocky needs a family who will take great care of him. He will need to be an indoor cat or with a cat proof garden.

Rocky is diabetic so he needs medication in his food daily and 3-month urine tests to make sure he is not developing any ketones. It’s that simple. No injections needed!
Adoptors need to be local to SPA vets Gloucester, as he is under their care.
​
Cats Rescue Gloucestershire will cover the treatment for his diabetes for 12 months. After this it’s appropriately £50 a month for the medication if he is adopted.
​

Meet the handsome Charlie. He is 7/8 years old we think.
Charlie prefers indoors and needs a quiet home with someone who has experience of cats as we think he was on the streets a while. He has no teeth and we think a previous owner may have done this for him.
Charlie needs an adult only home with no other pets or dogs.

Feral and farm cats needing homes
Would you like to provide a loving home for some feral or farm cats? As hard as we try to socialise them, some feral cats just aren't keen on people. They would much prefer to live in a rural setting, such as a stable, farm, rural home or small holding. They're natural pest controllers, who will thrive with a semi outdoor life. They can sometimes become friendly over time with their feeders. They may accept a bit of fuss, come indoors and accept you as one of their gang, but it is down to the personality of the cat.
This is quite a specialized area for rehoming cats and a lot of effort is needed to make sure they settle in well. If you are interested in providing these types of cats a lifestyle they would love, please complete the form below, choosing the 'feral cat' option.
